I appreciate that managing my weight and health has never come easily, but I may now have found a way around it, even if an expensive one.

I have begun eliminating sugar and wheat from my diet and am steadily building weekday-morning workouts into my routine, allowing restless energy to be burned off through exercise and redirected to more productive ends.

True, I fell short on the healthy-living front before, but as I said, I’ve got a workaround. I started screenshotting clothes I like, and it turns out I’ve quietly built up a style all my own — one I’m proud of.

So I decided to tie the exploration of my style to my ongoing weight-maintenance journey. Lakini I remain hopeful that I will meet my person before long, and perhaps then my elder sister will at last give up trying to match me with someone. Until then, I am staying the course with my weight-maintenance journey.
